“RB RAIL AS”, announces the winner of the open competition on design guidelines of the Rail Baltica railway that is subjected to the provision of engineering services to develop unified design guidelines for the Rail Baltica construction project.

Three parties have signed the contract on conduction of the upgrade feasibility study for the section “Polish/Lithuanian state border–Kaunas–RRT Palemonas”.

Baiba Rubesa, CEO and Chairperson of the Management Board of the joint venture RB RAIL presented the Rail Baltica project to the G7 Transport Ministers Meeting on 22 June 2017, in Cagliari, Italy.

The shareholders of RB Rail AS – “Rail Baltic Estonia”, “Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas” and “Rail Baltica statyba” – have approved the new Supervisory Board.

To reach out to the most experienced industry representatives and invite them to bring their knowledge to the Rail Baltica Global project implementation, COO of RB RAIL AS Kaspars Rokens attended the 6th International Railway Convention in Valencia, Spain.

Representatives from around 200 companies based in 19 different countries visited Riga, Latvia, to participate in the most significant event so far focusing on the suppliers of the Rail Baltica project – “Industry Suppliers’ Day” held on April 25, 2017, under “Rail Baltica Global Forum 2017”.

The first day of the international two-day event “Rail Baltica Global Forum 2017 – Building a New Economic Corridor” that was held in Riga on April 24, 2017, gathered not only an impressive line-up of speakers, but also a great number of influential officials, politicians, decision-makers and experts.

Joint stock company RB Rail has announced an open competition “Feasibility and Technical Framework Study for a Rail Bound (Light Rail or Tram) Connection from Rail Baltica Ülemiste Passenger Terminal to Ten-T Core Network Tallinn Passenger Port (Old City Harbour/Vanasadam)”.

On April 24, 2017, the Supervisory Board of “RB Rail AS” appointed three new board members to the Management Board of the joint venture: Kaspars Rokens, Ignas Degutis and Deniss Murashko.

Today marks the beginning of the international two-day event “Rail Baltica Global Forum 2017 – Building a New Economic Corridor” organized by RB Rail AS, a joint venture by the three Baltic States, with the support of the project’s national implementing bodies – Rail Baltic Estonia, Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas and Rail Baltica statyba.
