Job summary
The primary responsibility of the Railway Signalling Engineer is coordination of Rail Baltica signalling system deployment from procurement to commissioning. The geographical area of responsibility covers the entire Rail Baltica project corridor, including the main line with cross-border connection to Poland, and various facilities such as freight yards, terminals, and maintenance sites.
Your responsibilities

Elaborate and review project technical documentation: requirements, specifications, technical solutions, designs, bills of quantities.

Review deliverables produced by designers, suppliers, and consultants.

Provide technical coordination of signalling system deployment.

Cooperate closely with project stakeholders: National Implementing Bodies, Project Engineer, and Works Contractor.

Participate in project planning and implementation tasks.
To succeed, you should have
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, preferably with specialization in Railway or IT&T.

5–8 years of experience in railway signalling system engineering, design, construction supervision, testing, or acceptance.

Experience in several ETCS and IXL projects; international experience is a plus.

Deep understanding of ETCS and IXL operational scenarios and functionality.

Knowledge of railway engineering processes, CSM-RA, RAM, Safety, and Interoperability (TSI-CCS).

Outstanding organizational abilities and a proactive, analytical mindset.

Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, both in person and remotely.
