The Rail Baltica project is being implemented by the three Baltic States – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The Beneficiaries of the Rail Baltica project are three Baltic State ministries – Estonia’s Ministry of Climate, Latvia’s Ministry of Transport and Lithuania’s Ministry of Transport and Communications. They established a joint venture, RB Rail AS, to be the Main Coordinator in 2014, for the purpose of completing the railway and developing the Rail Baltica project.
Rail Baltic Estonia OU in Estonia, Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas SIA in Latvia, Rail Baltica statyba UAB and LTG Infra in Lithuania are the national Implementing Bodies. All construction carried out by the implementing bodies is done under the supervision of RB Rail and is based on common procurement principles, rules and contract templates.
