Job summary

The Railway Telecommunication Engineer is responsible for the preparation, review, and approval of technical documentation, as well as the coordination of technical designs. The geographical scope covers the entire Rail Baltica project corridor across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Your responsibilities

• Elaborate and review project technical documentation, including requirements, specifications, technical solutions, designs, and bills of quantities.

• Review deliverables produced by designers and/or suppliers.

• Participate in project planning and implementation tasks.

• Ensure technical coordination for designs.

• Cooperate closely with project stakeholders such as the National Implementing Body, Engineer, and Works Contractor.

To succeed, you should have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Telecommunications or Railways.

• At least 3 years of proven work experience as a Designer or Technical Project Manager in several design or construction projects related to fibre optics, backbone transmission networks, voice communication systems, control or data centres.

• Proactive and energetic personality.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to see both the big picture and the technical details.

• Strong communication skills, capable of working effectively both in person and remotely with business partners and internal technical team members.
